My first artistic memory was standing in front of an easel in kindergarten ~ a blank piece of paper and all those powdered pigment colors mixed in cut-off milk cartons. The creative seed was planted and, in 1968, I received a BA degree in Fine Arts from California State University at Long Beach.

In 1991, I began three-and-a-half years of metalsmithing classes at El Camino Junior College and found my passion.  I design and fabricate silver jewelry in my home studio in Hermosa Beach, California.
